NATIONAL SECURITY
Hypersonic Ground Test Center
Adjacent to Discovery Park District at Purdue, HGTC allows for access to unmatched talent and research capabilities.
Unprecedented ground-based testing capabilities to the development of reusable air breathing engines for operation at flight speeds between Mach 3.5 and 7.5.
A new generation test facility providing the full cycle of conditions and propulsion transitions from Sea Level Static to Mach 7.5 is critical to the advancement of hypersonic aircraft and weapons systems to provide the United States with strategic dominance. Purdue Research Foundation is developing a Hypersonic Ground Test Center (HGTC) located adjacent to Discovery Park District at Purdue University.
