TALENT AND WORKFORCE ECOSYSTEM

WORLD-CLASS EDUCATION

History. Traditions. Achievements. Purdue University's story is full of milestones that have had a significant impact on our state, nation and world. Boilermakers have walked on the moon, delivered breakthroughs in countless industries, and driven persistent innovation in agriculture. Purdue graduates represent more than a pipeline of talent, they are tomorrow's thought leaders who default to action.

DIVERSITY ACCELERATES INNOVATION

Discovery Park District is located in the heart of a Big Ten university with diversity and global experiences at the foundation of a Purdue education. With 135+ countries represented in student population, 200+ study abroad opportunities in 60 countries, and a top-20 ranking for Best Colleges in the U.S. for LGBTQ+ Students (BestColleges and Campus Pride, 2021), talent from this community is uniquely prepared for immediate impact in diverse, global businesses.

STRONG PARTNERSHIPS

Purdue Research Foundation retains its own agile, independent Economic Development team, with strong local and state coordination on workforce and incentives through Greater Lafayette Commerce, the Cities of Lafayette and West Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. Purdue University proactively executes strategic partnerships to bolster important workforce initiatives, such as May, 2022 agreement with Ivy Tech in microelectronics education.

DATA-DRIVEN WORKFORCE

The Purdue University Data Mine is the first large-scale learning community for undergraduate and graduate students from all majors, focused on Data Science for All. Hillenbrand Hall, where many Data Mine students live, is filled with new learning communities of students preparing for the data-driven workforce of the 21st century.

ALLIANCE MANAGEMENT

Alliance Management focuses on helping companies thrive at Purdue through world-class talent, leveraging assets, and identifying growth opportunities that add mutual value to your Purdue Partnership. The Alliance Management team optimizes Communication, Collaboration and Coordination between companies and the vast array of key assets at Purdue and Greater Lafayette.
